START CONTROL DEVICE OF VEHICULAR DUAL CLUTCH TYPE TRANSMISSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly switch to starting by a first speed stage on an uphill road or the like, while smoothly starting by a second speed stage in an ordinary state, when starting a freight vehicle mounted with a dual clutch type transmission. SOLUTION: When starting the freight vehicle, first of all, two input shafts of the dual clutch type transmission are set in a state of being shifted to the first speed stage and the second speed stage, and second speed starting is performed by increasing a connection quantity of a friction clutch continuing with a gear train of the second speed stage in this state. After a predetermined time passes, rightness of driving force is determined by detecting accelerator opening and a vehicle speed, and the vehicle is quickly accelerated by continuing the starting by the second speed stage when driving force is not insufficient. When determining that the driving force is insufficient, the friction clutch continuing with the gear train of the first speed stage is immediately connected. Since the clutch is shifted in advance to the gear train of the fist speed stage, the transmission becomes a shifted-down state in a short time, and the unexpected situation such as a retreat of the vehicle is avoided even on the uphill road.
