THERMALLY EXPANDABLE TISSUE CONDITIONER FOR DENTAL USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a tissue conditioner for dental use easily removable from a denture base in the case of re-covering according to the restoration state of the mucous membrane in the oral cavity. SOLUTION: The tissue conditioner for dental use, easily removable from the denture base after use simply by heating the base contains thermally expandable particles expanding the volume with heat and produced e.g. by encapsulating a liquefied gas in a hollow particle made of a thermoplastic resin, preferably having a thermal expansion starting temperature of 70-110°C and exhibiting a volume expansion ratio of 10-100 in the case of applying heat to heat the conditioner at or above the thermal expansion starting temperature.
