PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic which can not only impart a moisturizing agent and an oil to skins, but also can positively treat chapping and the like, while conventional cosmetics, such as creams, which are coated on skins to give nutrients to the skins and promote moisture keeping, especially often coated on the skins of persons having the weak skins to prevent skin roughening such as chapping in winter, can be expected to have the effects of oils and the moisture-keeping effects of moisturizing agents, but can not be expected to have an effect for positively preventing, treating wounds and the like of the skins. SOLUTION: The cosmetic contains a sitosterol glycoside in an amount of 0.001 to 10 wt.%. The cosmetic, is a cream for skin. The cosmetic further contains a silk powder mixed therein.
