PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve inconvenience caused for cleaning the sill groove of an elevator door. SOLUTION: A brush vertically operating mechanism 14 for a sill groove cleaning brush 13 for cleaning the sill groove is attached to the lower portion of a door. The sill groove cleaning brush 13 is attached to the end of the brush vertically operating mechanism 14, and is vertically moved between cleaning performing height with the end positioned at the height of the surface of the sill groove and cleaning standby height with the end separated from the surface of the sill groove by the brush vertically operating mechanism 14. When the end of the sill groove cleaning brush 13 is positioned at the cleaning performing height and brought into contact with the sill groove, the sill groove is cleaned according to opening/closing of the door. Meanwhile, when the end of the sill groove cleaning brush 13 is positioned at the cleaning standby height, it is impossible to clean the sill groove even if the door is opened/closed.
