Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder having a bottom plate for placing recording paper and resin-coated wire, can prevent the bottom plate from tilting and lowering even if the resin-coated wire bends under a low-temperature environment. SOLUTION: The large-capacity sheet feeder 52 is provided with a sheet feed base 521 for placing recording paper and a wire 523 covered with resin coating and lifting up the bottom plate. The large-capacity sheet feeder 52 has a weighing member 522 so that a bias percentage of load applied to the wire 523 for lifting up the sheet feed base 521 is 13% or less.
