FOAM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE FOAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foam in which a support containing a polyester resin being inexpensive and excellent in solvent resistance and a foamed layer are adhered to each other with high adhesion and to provide a method of manufacturing the foam. SOLUTION: The foam 1 has the foamed layer 20 and the support 10 which are laminated through an anchor layer 30, wherein the support 10 contains at least polyester resin on its surface, the anchor layer 30 contains polycarbonate urethane resin and/or a polyether-polyurethane resin. Alternatively, the foam 1 has the foamed layer 20 further contains a structural unit derived from (meth)acrylic monomer. The method of manufacturing the foam 1 includes: a step of forming the anchor layer 30 on the support 10; a step of forming a foamable layer comprising a foamable composition on the anchor layer 30; and a step of obtaining the foamed layer 20 by foaming the foamable layer.
