AMPLIFIER WITH PREDISTORTION TYPE DISTORTION COMPENSATION FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence caused by memory effects of an amplifier by the amplifier with a predistortion type compensation distortion function which compensates the distortion generated in the amplifier for amplifying an input signal by a predistortion method. SOLUTION: A distortion component caused by the memory effects of the amplifier is compensated by using a temporal difference, as a result of raising the input signal to the even number power with a means for compensating a memory effect distortion component. As one example, the amplifier with a predistortion type compensation distortion function is composed by using even number power means 11, 16 for raising the input signal to the even number power, even number power result delaying means 12, 17 for delaying a signal of the even number power result, means 13, 18 for detecting the temporal difference of the even number power result which detect the difference between the signal of the even number power result and a delay signal, input signal multiplication means 14, 19 for multiplying the signal of the detection result and the input signal, distortion compensation coefficient multiplication means 15, 20 for multiplying the signal of the multiplication result and a distortion compensation coefficient, and a means 21 for adding the multiplication result of the distortion compensation coefficient which adds the input signal and the signal of the multiplication result.
