PORTABLE TERMINAL DEVICE WITH CAMERA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal device with camera, which has achieved loudspeaker function capable of nicely outputting sound of speaker in accordance with the condition of audience. SOLUTION: A portable telephone includes: a microphone 17 into which sound is input; loudspeakers 15, 16 which output sound to the sound collecting direction and opposite direction through the microphone 17; a camera module 13 which takes an image in the direction to which the loudspeakers 15, 16 are faced; and a CPU 100. The CPU 100 effects image recognition treatment to an image taken by the camera module 13 to identify a man in the image. Then, the CPU adjusts the volume and the outputting direction of sound obtained by the microphone 17 in accordance with the arrangement of the identified man. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
