Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article management system for preventing loss or the like by managing the locations of a plurality of articles to be managed. SOLUTION: The article management system 1A includes managing tags 3A to 3C attached to each of articles to be managed 2A to 2C. The managing tags 3A to 3C are provided with: a memory 13 for storing an own ID 13a and other's ID 13b; a transmitting part 11 for transmitting the own ID 13a; a receiving part 12 for receiving the own 13a transmitted from other managing tags 3A to 3C; an alarm part 14 for outputting alarm; and a control part 15 for determining whether all of the managing tags 3A to 3C to be managed exist in the receiving range of the own ID 13a on the basis of whether all of the other's IDs 13b stored in the memory 13 are received, and driving the alarm part 14 to output an alarm when no managing tag exists.
