Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic paper system in which the remaining power of a battery is easily recognized. SOLUTION: Relating to electronic paper systems 100, 100a, in the case where the remaining power of a battery 682 of displays 600a, 600b, 600c falls below a prescribed threshold, the remaining power of the battery 682 is displayed on a display element 680 by a remaining power display controller. Here, the term "prescribed threshold" indicates the remaining power which allows at least one time of display change of the display element 680. The remaining power of the battery 682 of the displays 600a, 600b, 600c is displayed and, therefore, the exchange of the battery 682 of the displays 600a, 600b, 600c can be performed before the power of the battery 682 of the displays 600a, 600b, 600c is completely consumed.
