Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic material which attains a change in spectra, refractive index or polarization state, and absorbs two photons with satisfactory efficiency, i.e., to provide a novel organic material of a large two-photon absorption cross sectional area, and further, to provide an absorption recording material which has at least a two-photon absorption compound of a large two-photon absorption areas and performs recording by a system disabling rewriting by using the two-photon absorption of two photon absorption compound, then irradiating the recording material with light and can perform recording and reproduction by detecting the difference in the emitted light, reflection intensity, etc., thereof.
