TRAVERSING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traversing device enabling a worker to move in a horizontal direction without getting down or up when the traversing device is mounted on a lounge to change a place for cleaning, etc., when performing a cleaning work of the lounge, with safety and considerable improvement of work efficiency. SOLUTION: This traversing device has an upper part frame 2 constituted of a front face plate 3, a rear face plate 4 shorter than the front face plate 3, and fixed shafts 5a and 5b for fixing upper parts of the front face plate 3 and the rear face plate 4 with a prescribed interval or a top plate, a substantially L-shaped lower part frame 17 rotatably supported in a lower part of the front face plate 3 to open/close a lower part of the upper part frame 2, and a locking part 19 for locking the lower part frame 17. The traversing device is provided with a supporting arm 7 having a locking hole 8 and provided on a front face side of the front face plate 3, supporting rollers 10a and 10b provided in the fixed shafts 5a and 5b or the top plate to abut on an upper end face of a face plate 55b of the lounge 55, and guide rollers 13 and 14 provided on a back face side of the front face plate 3 and a front face side of the rear face plate 4 to abut on each of front face side and back face side of the face plate 55b.
