Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circular saw for metal cutting capable of reducing abrasion by reducing contact of a workpiece material and a side flank as much as possible, increasing resistance against chipping and cutting of a cutting blade tip, effectively preventing chapping, etc. of a cutting surface and drastically extending a life span of the circular saw. SOLUTION: A blade body 14 is formed for each of pitches on an outer peripheral edge of a disk type base metal 12, and the cutting blade tip 20 is respectively fastened on each of the blade bodies 14. Stepped parts 30 formed in the rear in the rotating direction of the blade bodies 14 and formed so that an interval of them between the both side flanks 28 becomes narrow are furnished on the both side flanks 28 connected to both sides of an outer peripheral flank 32 of each of the cutting blade tips 20.
