APPARATUS, METHOD, AND PROGRAM FOR ULTRASONIC IMAGE PROCESSING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately extract a speckle without depending on the shape or echo level in the periphery of the speckle, and to find the mobility (the quantity of movement and the speed of movement) other than high-echo information. SOLUTION: The ultrasonic image processing apparatus includes: an ultrasonic transmitting/receiving section for transmitting ultrasonic waves toward a subject and receiving the ultrasonic waves reflected from the subject; a speckle component extracting section for extracting speckle components from phase components of ultrasonic signals received by the ultrasonic transmitting/receiving section; and an analyzing section for analyzing information on the movement of the tissue included in a plurality of ultrasonic image data based on the extracted speckle components.
