CONTROL CIRCUIT FOR CHARGE COUPLED DEVICE CORRELATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically adjust delay between a data signal and a clock signal. SOLUTION: A control circuit for CCD correlator includes: a correlator 20 having a CCD correlator, a delay unit 30 for giving a predetermined delay to a clock signal used for driving the CCD correlator, an intensity determining unit 40 for determining whether the intensity of an output from the CCD correlator is larger than a preset threshold or not, and a control unit 60 for determining the a predetermined magnitude of delay. The control unit includes a clock-data delay adjusting means 62 for changing the magnitude of delay sequentially until the output signal becomes larger than the threshold, and a delay control signal generating means 66 for generating a delay control signal, which shows the magnitude of delay, and transmits the delay control signal to the delay unit.
