MOTION VECTOR DETECTING CIRCUIT, MOTION VECTOR DETECTING DEVICE, AND INTEGRATED CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein a reliable motion vector cannot be detected, when detecting a motion vector of a block for constituting a frame from a plurality of frame data. SOLUTION: When a motion vector of a block is calculated, not only an estimated motion vector of the block, but also an estimated motion vector of other blocks is taken into consideration, to generate a representative vector. In this case, other blocks are blocks that exist around the block and are at positions where approximate motion is estimated. As a result, the representative vector is adopted, when the correlation value of the representative vector is small, even if that of the motion vector estimated in the block is large, thus detecting a more reliable motion vector.
