PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dust from adhering to a pickup head when a disk tray is drawn out. SOLUTION: In a case 4, a disk reproduction mechanism 5 having the pickup head 8, a CPU 16 and an exhaust fan 17 are provided. The disk tray 21 is attached to the case 4 so as to be movable between a storage position and a draw-out position. A tray insertion hole 4b is formed on a front surface of the case 4. A position detecting switch 31 that detects the position of the disk tray 21 is provided inside the case 4. When the disk tray 21 is positioned at the storage position, the exhaust fan 17 is ready to be driven. When a temperature detected by a temperature sensor 32 exceeds 35°C, the exhaust fan 17 is driven. When the disk tray 21 is positioned at the draw-out position and the tray insertion hole 4b is exposed, the exhaust fan 17 is stopped, and a dust is prevented from entering the case 4 from the outside of the case 4 through the tray insertion hole 4b.
