Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric porcelain composition, of which the electrostriction amount during voltage impression is low and the high-temperature load life and the DC bias characteristics can be improved. SOLUTION: The dielectric porcelain composition contains a main component containing barium titanate, a first accessory component containing BaZrO3, a second accessory component containing a rare-earth oxide, a third accessory component containing at least one kind of oxide selected from among those of Mn, Ni, Cr, Co, and Fe, and a fourth accessory component containing Si oxide. The composition has plural dielectric particles 2a and plural crystal grain boundary zones 2b. When the content ratio of Zr and the content ratio of a rare earth element, both in the crystal grain boundary, are determined, the ratio of measurement points, on which the inclusion ratio of Zr and the inclusion ratio of the rare earth element are both 1 atom% or higher, is 90% or higher of all the measurement points. At the measurement points, the average value of the content ratio of Zr and the average value of the content ratio of the rare earth element are both 1 atom% or higher. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
