PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher improving washing efficiency, drying performance and operability of a dish rack by reducing wash water and rinse water remaining at a dish rack support part of a washing tub, and having high safety preventing the falling of the dish rack even if a large load is applied thereto. SOLUTION: A washing tub sliding part 12 slidably supporting the dish rack 4 is formed of a washing tub sliding part sloping surface 12a which is inclined downward by a predetermined distance from the sidewalls of the washing tub upper portion 2b toward the inside, to reduce filth and rinse water remaining on the washing tub sliding part 12, thereby improving the washing efficiency, the drying performance and the operability of the dish rack. Furthermore, a washing tub sliding part rib 12b is functioned as a stopper for preventing the falling of the dish rack 4 so as to prevent the falling of the dish rack 4 due to the downward load, even if the washing sliding part 12 is the sloping face, thus providing a highly safe dishwater.
