Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generation system which enables independent power generation during power failure but disables independent power generation during power failure except power feed stop from a system. SOLUTION: A voltage detection part 5 is provided at a location further upstream than a system-interconnection switching part 4 that switches connection and disconnection to/from the system provided on the upstream side of a distribution panel 2. When a power failure is detected by this voltage detection part 5, a starting control part 3 that performs starting control of a power generation device puts the system-interconnection switching part 4 in a disconnected state, and then puts the power generation system while being electrically separated from the system. Then, the power generator is started and independent power generation is commenced by using power stored in an energy storage battery provided in the starting control part 3.
