Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both to improve the accuracy of color conversion and save a memory capacity required for the improvement. SOLUTION: A printer 1 is provided, which includes a conversion unit 25 for converting an input value belonging to an RGB color space into an output value belonging to a CMYK color space. The conversion unit 25 includes a function 26 for determining a partial color space (area) to which the input value belongs on the basis of division information 31, a first function 23 for using a three-dimensional LUT 32 for color conversion to calculate an output value when the determined area is an area to be converted by using a LUT (lookup table), and a second function 24 for using an approximate function defined by function information 33 to calculate an output value when the determined area is an area to be converted by using the approximate function.
