TRAY TAKING-OUT METHOD OF DISK CHANGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray taking-out method of a disk changer, which can reduce the tray taking-out time for taking out a tray from a recording and playback position to an exchanging position. SOLUTION: In the tray taking-out method of the disk changer having a first motor generating driving force for conveying the tray between a standby position and the recording and playback position and a second motor setting a tray driving gear unit capable of separately conveying each tray in a tray simultaneously conveyable state and generating driving force for conveying the tray between the standby position and the exchanging position, the drive of the second motor setting the tray driving gear unit in the tray simultaneously conveyable state is started while the first motor is driven to convey the tray from the recording and playback position to the standby position and the second motor is driven to convey the tray from the standby position to the exchanging position when the conveyance of the tray to the standby position is completed and the tray driving gear unit is set in the tray simultaneously conveyable state.
