PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the convenience when a plurality of preliminarily registered persons enters a controlled area substantially at the same time while preventing tailgating. SOLUTION: A determination part 8 determines, based on a collation result output from a face area extraction/collation part 5 and a detection result by a human body detection part 7, successful authentication when the collation result can be collated and the number of collated face areas is matched to the number of persons of the detection result. Therefore, a person who is not preliminarily registered (person other than tenants of multiple dwelling houses) can be prevented from entering the multiple dwelling houses, and tailgating of an unregistered person can be also prevented. Further, although all persons simultaneously present in an object space, even if all the persons are registered person, could not enter the controlled area substantially at the same time in a conventional example, all the registered persons can enter the controlled area substantially at the same time in this embodiment.
