Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion analysis method and a motion analysis device for analyzing motion of motion analysis subjects that are a variety of operators and a variety of objects by means of a new method which is not provided conventionally. SOLUTION: The analysis method divides motion image data from a time-series change of a first stage feature data calculated on the basis of a statistics amount of local motion information extracted from motion image data with the motion of a motion analysis subject imaged therein, classifies the divided sections on the basis of second stage feature data calculated from the first stage feature data for each divided section, classifies the divided sections by integrating successive divided section strings into an element operation in accordance with similarities of the second stage feature data calculated for each divided section or of divided section string data of the classification information classified for each divided section, and analyzes the motion on the basis of element motion string data. The analysis method compares the element operation string data and one motion string data obtained for the motion of the motion analysis object with preset standard element operation string data and one operation string data to evaluate the similarities among them in accordance with a threshold. The method can divide and classify the motion image data by stably extracting the feature of the image data.
