Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detecting device excellent in durability and capable of conducting detection at consecutive angles of rotation. SOLUTION: The rotation angle detecting device includes: a rotating member 1; a magnet 2 fixed to the rotating member 1 which rotates as the rotating member 1 rotates; an integrated circuit for magnetic detection 3 disposed in such a way as to face the magnet 2 which detects the magnetic field strength of the magnet 2 through the rotation of the magnet 2; and a housing 4 wherein the integrated circuit for magnetic detection 3 has a magnetic detection plane 33 substantially parallel to the direction of the magnetization P of the magnet 2.
