SOLUTION: A radiation solid detector 26 composing a radiation image photographing device 20 includes thermistors 72a-72e for detecting the temperatures of each part of a protection case 36. A temperature control part 74 controls a Peltier element 76 based on detected temperatures with the thermistors 72a-72e. The temperature control part 74 functions as a control part for stopping supply of a power source of the thermistors 72a-72e when radiation is irradiated on an object and when electric signals are read from the radiation solid detector 26.
