OPERATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operating device capable of maintaining an appropriate rotating angle posture of a rotating type lid body by a simple structure, thus, having good usability and capable of suitably preventing failure in which a lid is easily damaged due to swift opening of the lid body. SOLUTION: In the operating device A, a rotation support part S for rotatably supporting the lid body 2 with respective to an operating device main body part 1 has a shaft part 3 and a hole part 4 which are fittable to each other. A plurality of projecting parts 31 and a plurality of recessed parts 41 which can be engaged with each other are provided on the outer peripheral face of the shaft part 3 and the inner peripheral face of the hole part 4, respectively, leaving intervals in the circumferential direction, and slits 34 capable of freely expanding/contracting the shaft part 3 in the radial direction are provided in the shaft part 3. When the lid body 2 is rotated and opened/closed, a state where the plurality of projecting parts 31 and the plurality of recessed parts 41 are engaged with each other and a state where the engagement is released are alternately repeated.
