SCOOTER-TYPE MOTORCYCLE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the maintainability of a battery while avoiding any increase in height of a floor tunnel part even when storing the battery in the floor tunnel part in a scooter type motorcycle in which the floor tunnel part is arranged on a motorcycle body cover between a pair of right and left footrest parts for placing feet of an occupant thereon in an upwardly raised manner, and a single center frame constituting a part of a motorcycle body frame is arranged in the floor tunnel part above the footrest parts. SOLUTION: In a parallelopiped battery 30, planes 30a, 30b including shortest ridges of the planes 30a, 30b, 30c constituting its outer surface are supported on a center frame 17 in the posture facing the longitudinal direction and the right-to-left direction of a body frame F, and along the substantially vertical direction. A hole for maintenance which is closed in an opening/closing manner by a lid 54 for maintenance is formed in a part arranged above the battery 30 out of a floor tunnel part 28 to cover the battery 30.
