Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a step-up converter step up the voltage from a DC power supply quickly to a target voltage while making a motor output torque well. SOLUTION: When the voltage from a battery 50 is boosted up by a step-up converter 55 in a hybrid vehicle 20, a boost rate ΔV required for a boosted voltage VH to reach a target boosted voltage VHtag is set (step S140) based on the boosted voltage VH,i.e. the voltage boosted by the step-up converter 55, an output limit Wout, i.e. a power permitted to be discharged from the battery 50, and a power which is consumed as torque is output from motors MG1 and MG2 and then the step-up converter 55 is controlled (steps S150, S160) based on the boost rate ΔV thus set and the target boosted voltage VHtag so that the boosted voltage VH changes.
