Based on a combination of the determination result of the signal bands of the plurality of component signals and the correlation among the plurality of component signals, as a tap to be used for predictive operation for predicting a pixel of interest that is a pixel to which attention is payed in second image data, a tap shape in extracting a plurality of pixels, including corresponding pixels of the first image data, corresponding to the pixel of interest and being present around the corresponding pixel, from the plurality of component signals is determined for each of the plurality of component signals and the tap is used for classifying the pixel of interest.
