Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively transmit/receive information on a vehicle, in an inter-vehicle communication apparatus mounted on the vehicle for communication between vehicles. SOLUTION: When a hazard lamp is turned on in its own vehicle (S140:YES), while calculating an information transmission period in accordance with a speed of the own vehicle (S120), it is determined to positively notify vehicles around of the presence of the own vehicle, and the information transmission period on the own vehicle is made shorter than a predetermined period (e.g., when S150:NO, go to S170). Thus, if the hazard lamp is turned on in the own vehicle due to various reasons such as for emergency stop, traffic jam or low visibility, for example, the information on the own vehicle is transmitted to the periphery in a short period, and it is effective.
