SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method of a lithium secondary battery positive electrode active material, olivine type phosphoric acid M lithium (M is a transition metal) obtained in a conventional method or olivine type M lithium compounded with carbon is cleansed by an acid with reducibility or by a solution in which acid is added by a reducing agent.
