Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker of a large capacity capable of carrying out a smooth off operation. SOLUTION: The circuit breaker is equipped with two fixed contacts 2A, 2B juxtaposed in right and left directions of a container, two movable contactors 4A, 4B in which movable contacts 3A, 3B are fixed to the tip part, and an open-close mechanism 5 to drive two movable contactors 4A, 4B. The movable contactor 4B is formed of a rigid conductive metal plate, inserted into a cut groove 55 formed in a cross bar 40 constituting the open-close mechanism 5 from sideward, and axially supported rotatably by an axial groove 63a formed in a barrier rib 63 erected and installed at a unit body piece 1A. Moreover, between the lower face of the movable contact 4B and the bottom face of the unit body piece 1A, a coil spring 62B is compressed and arranged, and when the off operation is carried out, the cross bar 40 is energized and rotated in clockwise direction by the coil spring 62A, and the movable contactor 4B is energized in the clockwise direction by the coil spring 62B, and rotated around the axial groove 63a.
