Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine with a fuel reforming device capable of inhibiting sulfur poisoning of a reforming means. SOLUTION: The internal combustion engine 1 with the fuel reforming device 3 is provided with a gasoline side cylinder 6 of a cylinder 5 in which gasoline is burned, an ethanol side cylinder 7 of a cylinder 5 in which ethanol is burned, a reforming fuel injector 37 capable of supplying reforming fuel to exhaust gas discharged from an inside of the ethanol side cylinder 7, and reforming catalyst 42 forming reformed gas which can be burned in the gasoline side cylinder 6 and the ethanol side cylinder 7 by reforming the reforming fuel supplied to exhaust gas by the reforming fuel injector 37. Consequently, since exhaust gas after combustion of gasoline does not flow to the reforming catalyst 42, sulfur components contained in gasoline can be inhibited from flowing into the reforming catalyst 42.
