Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for foam production, which contains a carboxy group-containing resin and an ADCA foaming agent and is improved in problems such as discoloration (yellowing) of a foam obtained by thermally foaming the resin composition, and a foam obtained by using the resin composition for foam production. SOLUTION: The resin composition for foam production contains the carboxy group-containing resin, the azodicarbonamide-based foaming agent, and a carboxylic acid hydrazide compound.
