MOLD FOR INSERT MOLDING AND INSERT MOLDING METHOD OF COMPOSITE SHEET BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold for insert molding and an insert molding method of composite sheet body, which prevent molten resin from leaking from an edge part of a formed resin part and prevent a composite sheet body from burring due to variation in dimensional accuracy of the sheet body. SOLUTION: The mold 100 for insert molding is configured in such a manner that the sheet body B is inserted into a recessed part 40 formed between a fixed mold 30 and a movable mold 10, the resin part 80 is formed on a periphery of the sheet body B by injecting the molten resin into a cavity 50 and the composite sheet body in which the sheet body B and the resin part 80 are integrally formed is molded, wherein the recessed part 40 is set to have such an inner size as not to put the sheet body B between the fixed mold 30 and the movable mold 10, and the fixed mold 30 and movable mold 10 are provided with a cutting and sealing means 90 which cuts and draws a part of the sheet body B located on the edge part of the formed resin part 80 prior to the injection of the molten resin and seals a cut surface of the sheet body B.
