Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for separating fishes, which simply separates a plurality of fries one by one and a method for separating fishes. SOLUTION: The apparatus 20 for separating fishes is composed of a water tank 21 having the bottom openably and closably closed by a bottom lid 26 and a plurality of partition walls 28 arranged under the water tank 21. A fish assembly and a liquid 24 storing the fishes 23 are dropped vertically downwardly and released by opening the bottom lid 26 from a state in which the fish assembly and the liquid 24 are retained in the water tank 21.
