Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight detecting device of an occupant that has a pair of slide rails and load cells at four corners of a slidable seat, and does not disturb the load measurement of the load cells. SOLUTION: This weight detecting device of the occupant comprises the pair of slide rails 2a and 2b arranged on a floor in a vehicle and the load cells 1 interposed at the four corners of a pair of side frames 3a and 3b for supporting the seat 40. The pair of side frames 3a and 3b extending in parallel and a set of first coupling racks 3c and 3d for connecting the pair of side frames 3a and 3b to both ends of the pair of side frames 3a and 3b so as to be orthogonal to the pair of side frames 3a and 3b constitute a rectangular frame-like seat frame 30. One first coupling rack 3c, of the set of first coupling racks 3c and 3d, is one end of the pair of side frames 3a and 3b via a deforming section deformed by an impact of certain magnitude or more.
