SOLUTION: A turbomachine part 10 comprises a main portion 15 and a leading edge. Over at least a fraction of the length of the part 10, the leading edge is constituted by a sheet 60 of material that is fastened to the main portion 15 and that extends from the pressure surface 30 to the negative pressure surface 50 of the main portion 15 while leaving a space 70 between the sheet and the upstream end 20 of the main portion 15, the material being capable, below a maximum deformation 2, of responding to an impact against a foreign body by deforming reversibly in superelastic manner without damaging the main portion 15.
