Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing cross-linked rubber, by which the scorch time can be extended by more effectively suppressing scorch and the maximum torque value can be increased by favorably advancing cross-linking, in cross-linking of rubber having a double bond in the side chain by an organic peroxide. SOLUTION: The cross-linked rubber is produced by cross-linking a rubber composition, containing rubber having a C-C double bond in the side chain and an organic peroxide, by heating the composition. At that time, in the composition, tetraalkyl thiuram disulfide for suppressing the scorch and a polyfunctional allyl compound for accelerating cross-linking are blended. As the tetraalkyl thiuram disulfide, a compound in which the alkyl group has 2-8 carbon atoms is preferable and tetrakis(2-ethylhexyl) thiuram disulfide is most preferable.
