Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the technique for improving the throughput of a dehydrating apparatus where a liquid component comprised in a workpiece is sucked, so as to perform dehydration. SOLUTION: The dehydrating apparatus 10 includes: a rotatably provided rotor 1; and a pressure reduction mechanism. The rotor 1 includes: a plurality of buckets 5 arranged in the circumferential direction to the rotary axis 1a of the rotor 1 and receiving a workpiece W; and filters 6 provided at the plurality of buckets 5 so as to be brought into contact with the workpiece W. The pressure reduction mechanism alternately performs the pressure reduction in the opposite face opposite to the contact face brought into contact with the workpiece W in each filter 6 and the stop of the pressure reduction synchronously with the rotation of the rotor 1.
