ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope which enables an operator to hold an operation holding part in a stable state though it is a type such that the operation holding part is bent and an operation lever is turned along the rear surface of the operation holding part. SOLUTION: The rear surface 36 of the holding part is projected to the rear with respect to an opposite surface 24 which forms a part of the rear surface of an operation part 20 and with which the part 29 to be operated of an operation lever 27 rotated to a lower limit position is to be brought into contact, and a level difference is formed between the opposite surface 24 and the rear surface of the operation part 20.
