FADING SIMULATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the time relationship between input and output without interrupting a signal, when changing parameters and functions. SOLUTION: A fading simulator has: a signal processing section 21 for performing processing for simulating a transmission path to an input signal; a variable delay section 23 for delaying the output of the signal processing section 21; a signal bypass section 25 for performing accumulation to the input signal and for starting reading the accumulated input signal at a timing when the first effective processing results by the signal processing section 21 is output from the variable delay section 23; a signal selection section 26; and a control section 30 for setting the amount of delay at the variable delay section 23 so that the amount of change in the delay is canceled in performing change processing for changing the amount of delay at the signal processing section 21, to output the output of the variable delay section 23 from the signal selection section 26 in other than a period for performing change processing, and to output the output of the signal bypass section 25 from the signal selection section 26 when change processing is being performed.
