Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten starting time in an electric power system having a hybrid power generation device including a solid oxide fuel cell 1 and a gas turbine 2. SOLUTION: When starting up of the hybrid power generation device, a combustion gas is supplied to a turbine 21 from a fuel supply source through a combustor 33 to start the gas turbine 2 and power generation is started by a generator 24. Hot air of high temperature is generated by heat exchange of exhaust air from a compressor 22 and hot exhaust air from the turbine 21 and by supplying it to the fuel cell 1, the temperature of the fuel cell 1 is raised. After the temperature of the fuel cell 1 has reached a prescribed temperature, a fuel from the fuel supply source and hot air are supplied to the fuel cell 1, and thereby power generation by the fuel cell 1 is started.
