POSITION DATA INPUT DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position data input device capable of always detecting normal position information even when analog voltage is converted into abnormal digital data by some cause. SOLUTION: The position data input device includes a position sensor 3 including a key switch 2 for switching analog voltage 1 representing position information, an A/D converter 4 for performing A/D conversion of an output of the position sensor 3, a data transfer circuit 9 for transferring output data of the A/D converter 4 to storing means (5) and (6), a depression time measuring means 7 of the key switch 2 for controlling the A/D converter 4, and an opened state detecting means 8 of the key switch 2 for controlling the data transfer circuit 9, wherein the depression time measuring means 7 controls the starts of the A/D converter 4 and the data transfer circuit 9 on detecting depression of the key switch 2, and the opened state detecting means 8 performs control so as to stop data transfer of the data transfer circuit 9 on detecting opening of the key switch 2.
