LOCKING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a locking device being suitable for installation on, for example, a door, a drawer, a door handle or a handle of a filing cabinet or the like and capable of removing a password button and a biometrics sensor from driver's visual field by arranging them on a rear surface side of the door handle or the handle, preventing a third party from sensing user's unlocking operation and intention of unlocking, preventing the occurrence of misappropriation of a personal identification number and illegal unlocking without fail by eliminating inference and inquiry about the personal identification number when unlocking, and hiding an object to be attacked by a burglar satisfactorily to improve capability of defense. SOLUTION: This locking device is used for the door 1 having a lock 2 and the door handle 6 or the handle or the drawer or the like. An operation mechanism capable of unlocking the lock 2 is provided in a back part of the door handle 6 or the handle.
