Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical steel sheet where, while minimizing the reduction of permeability at about 1.4 to 1.6T as the general operating magnetic flux density in recent permanent magnet motors and small-sized transformers, in the magnetic flux density region lower than that, permeability is suitably reduced, and the nonlinearity of a magnetization curve is reduced, thus the loss of permanent magnet motors and the increase in the strain of a waveform at small-sized iron cores can be prevented. SOLUTION: Compressive stress of ≥5 MPa is applied to the surface of a non-oriented electrical steel sheet comprising 0.1 to 4 mass% Si, having a sheet thickness of 0.10 to 1.0 mm, and having specified magnetic properties.
