Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure the distance to an object moving relatively to one's own vehicle, at high speed with high accuracy. SOLUTION: Cameras 11, 12 image the front with a prescribed frame rate. An extraction part 23 uses each input image input successively with the prescribed frame rate as a standard image and a reference image, and extracts a domain where the object moving relatively to a vehicle body in each standard image is imaged. A setting part 24 determines an object domain which is a processing object from a domain extracted by the extraction part 23, and sets it in the standard image. A searching part 31 sets successively each attention pixel in the object domain set in the standard image, and searches for a correspondence point of each attention pixel from the reference image. A distance calculation part 32 determines the distance to the object by using a ranging method by a stereo method based on the attention pixel and the correspondence point.
