Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem related to the needs of a turbine operation method and system for manufacturing a larger turbine and attaining a cost-effective operation method of the turbine that the size of the turbine system for power generation capable of manufactured in a cost-effective state is limited and therefore a larger and more effective turbine cannot be realized. SOLUTION: A turbine system for power generation includes an axial flow compressor for pressurizing the flow of air. The pressurized air is mixed with fuel to be burned in a combuster 120. High temperature gas is led to a turbine. The turbine includes a high pressure turbine section 904, an intermediate pressure turbine section 908 and a low pressure turbine section 912. The high pressure turbine section is coupled to at least a part of the axial flow compressor through a first shaft 902, and drives at least a part of the axial flow compressor during operation. The intermediate pressure turbine section is coupled to a high speed power generator 802 through the intermediate of a second shaft 906, and drives the high speed power generator 802 during operation. The low pressure turbine section is coupled to a low speed power generator 212 through a third shaft 910, and drives the low speed power generator during operation. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
