Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem related to the needs of a turbine operation method and system for manufacturing a larger turbine and attaining a cost-effective operation method of the turbine that the size of the turbine system for power generation capable of manufactured in a cost-effective state is limited and therefore a larger and more effective turbine cannot be realized. SOLUTION: A turbine system for power generation includes an axial flow compressor for pressurizing the flow of air. The pressurized air is mixed with fuel to be burned in a combustor 120. High temperature gas is led to a turbine. The axial flow compressor includes a low pressure compressor section 606 and high pressure compressor section 602. The turbine includes a low pressure turbine section 208 and high pressure turbine section 204. The high pressure turbine section is coupled to the high pressure compressor section through the medium of a first shaft 216 to drive the high pressure compressor section. The low pressure turbine section is coupled to a low speed power generator 212 through the medium of a second shaft 220 to drive the low speed power generator during operation and coupled to the low pressure compressor section through the medium of the second shaft to drive the low pressure compressor section during operation.
